Talk by archaeologist Michael Strong: “Towards understanding the plethora of bora rings in south-east Queensland”. On Saturday April 16th at 2 pm, Michael will talk about research he has done with Aboriginal people about the role of bora rings in the sacred cultural landscape and confusion about their role and purpose. The talk will take place at the Abbey Museum, Bribie Island Rd Caboolture. For information and booking contact the Museum on 5495 1652 or info@abbeymuseum.asn.au. Cost is $5 for members and $10 for guests and afternoon tea will be provided.
